[ Nippara Stalactite Grotto ! OKUTAMA ]

Nipparashi Shonnyudo is a limestone cave located at 1052 Nipparashi, Okutama-cho, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo. It has a total length of 1,270 meters and a height difference of 134 meters. It is designated as a natural monument by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and is one of the largest in the Kanto region, along with Takigaya Cave in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture.

The temperature in the cave is 11 degrees Celsius throughout the year, so it is cool in summer and warm in winter. Even in summer, it is quite cold wearing only a T-shirt.
The cave is one of the largest in the Kanto region, and offers a fantastic view.
If you are tired of the crowds in the city, you can relax and enjoy yourself, even though it is far from Tokyo.
There are some narrow sections and stairs in the cave, so it may be difficult for those with small children to enjoy it.
